Delmarva Pagan Pride Day - A Community Tradition

What is the Delmarva Pagan Pride Day?

We are a group of volunteers working to create an outdoor community day at Legislative Mall in Dover, DE. We invite everyone - Wiccans, Pagans, Heathens, Alternative Traditions and Faiths, and all manner of Solitary Practitioners, and anyone located in the Maryland, Delaware, and Virginia Peninsula area and beyond - to create a safe space to enjoy and support our community, learn together, and network as we have done for over 24 years.

What will I find there?

  • We host vendors and non profit groups in a massive outdoor market. 
  • We invite authors and teachers for classes free to the public to encourage and enrich personal practice for everyone. 
  • We offer performers and bands to showcase community talent. 
  • We hold public rituals to create sacred space together. 
  • We provide a children's program to support our children and their parents with learning opportunities.

How can I be a part of the Delmarva Pagan Pride Day?

When you arrive please stop by our registration desk, located on the MLK Jr BLVD N side, with a canned or boxed shelf stable food donation for the local shelter! We will have schedules available there to view. 

Please make sure that you wear sunscreen and stay hydrated for the duration of the event! 

You are invited to bring folding chairs and other portable seating and blankets for classes, performances, or just relaxing in the space.

We are looking for a few positions to help Delmarva PPD provide everything it does for the community. Showcase your talents or simply learn about Festivals behind the scenes. We accept all levels of experience.

  • Planning Assistants
  • Registration Desk Greeters
  • Ritual Role Volunteers

There is plenty of parking surrounding the Mall, Green, and the adjacent area but we ask you to avoid parking on M.L.K. Jr BLVD N to provide space for food trucks and vendor loading areas. Thank you! 

We do run the event outside rain or shine.
